Dear Friends of Meebak,
As a company that holds transparency and honesty as core values, we wish to always be upfront about issues involving us and our brand.
Several people in the Meebak community have reached out to us regarding a recent event concerning an influencer - Gabi DeMartino - who has been promoting Meebak's products on YouTube. Unbeknownst to us and in a departure from her prior wholesome persona she has distributed a nude clip of herself as a child that has led to some legal issues. Immediately upon hearing of the news we asked her to pull all content related to us and our brand from her past videos which we have sponsored. We want to be clear regarding our stance that we absolutely do not and will not support or sponsor influencers or their social platforms who engage in inappropriate conduct. Meebak is a community and an extension of who we are; a brand that promotes beauty and health, inside and out, and which upholds good values that represent who we are as a company.
We take this issue very seriously and will do everything that we can to prevent anything like this from happening again.
